Apparently sneaking around in the bushes in San Francisco park is as normal as cool weather in the Bay Area because not a single person stopped to ask me what the hell I was doing Hiding there in the trees…Naked…with a camera… As a professional FISHEAD I have to admit when the chance came to visit with some of the worlds very best SPEY casting Guru’s http://www.ggacc.org/ I was a little intimidated. Not because they cast so well but because I knew they can drink like fish, and I don’t really drink…which concerns me because I’m always afraid I will have a re-occurrence of that particularly embarrassing front page article from the 1980′s, the accompanying photo of me in my cowboy hat, boots and the leopard skin stretch tight jumper, dancing on the bar….never trust your fishing buddies when they say, “Yeah,… hell, we did it last year and everyone loved it !” Avoiding the alcohol proved easier than I thought because it turns out these club guys are kind of stingy when it comes to sharing their booze…However they were as free as the wind when it came time to share information about the club and the casting events ! I was also astounded at the
April 26th, 2011 zero comments Blog DetailsMy new SPEY-O-RAMA cap drew some weird responses on my way home ..flying from San Francisco to Spokane Washington I received 114 smug looks, 89 sneers with glare attached, 56 “Red Neck” under the breath comments, 32 “republican” accusations, 21 High fives, 11 pats on the back and jolly laughs, 7 “what are you thinking boy ?” questions from African Americans, 3 straight out “Asshole !” comments and 1 free soda pop on my way back to SAFTY! Reaching home was a sweet relief, I hadn’t figured out what all the hubbub was about until my wife walked up and before greeting me with a hug said..”Nice Hat.!!.” After removing the cap for closer inspection it was apparent I had been tricked into promoting political views and I’m clearly not a political guy……SPEY-O-BAMA….I’m sure they didn’t do it on purpose…but it’s funny none the less.

Since the construction of the Rodriguez Dam (1936), Barrett Dam (1922), and Morena Dam (1912) Tijuana river watershed is vastly retained beyond the watching eye of devoted STEELHEAD Fly Fishermen… 73% of this watershed lies within the Mexican border, and 78% of this watershed lies behind the Rodriguez Dam. ”Flood Control Dams” built to help control flooding so people could build homes and farm in the flood zone…where floods happen and stuff… Governmental evaluation reports state the affects of the dams are unknown because river gauging did not take place prior to the building of the Dams…HOWEVER…as we all know this is pure CRAPOLA and resembles the same sewage we recieve from

Well besides the main competitions you hear about we thought this would be a good time to tell you about the unheard of ones, and about a name that normally isn’t dropped in the fly fishing world. That name being Greg Gondella, Greg has owned and operated his own guide service HookJaw Outfitters for the lat seven years, and has been competing for the last three. He comes from the Norheast Corner of PA, where he fishes some of the most well known fly waters of the East. When Greg is not guiding , fishing , or running the Sales end of things for Flytooth Flyline, you will find him
